- Would you believe I just bought my first LCD monitor after living with my last CRT for 11 years, but am having a few issues here with tuning it in. It is an Eizo/Nanao model S2433WH Flexscan. I'm use to having an executable file for drivers etc. but Eizo told me that all their monitors are considered plug and play devices and drivers aren't necessary. I did however download a file from their site labeled ICC Profiles and Drivers and was able to get the correct info for it to display in device manager.

I was lucky enough that my slightly old MSI video card supported the native 1920 x 1200 resolution and also had a DVI out, thus I am using a DVI-D cable and it shows up as digital as well in device manager. There are another two ICC profiles included though that are labeled Custom 5000K G2.2 and 6500K G2.2. Which profile should I be using? Haven't dabbled with the on screen menu yet and would appreciate any suggestions for display settings if anyone has this unit or similar. There seems to be quite a few modes to choose from.

Those profiles will change the color of the screen. Really, whichever you find more comfortable to look at... or if you're into photos/graphics there are ways to calibrate the correct white balance.
