Like the kid who swallowed some toy horses. Doctors said he was stable.
When my son was in K, he asked me one day whether I liked vowels or consonants better.
I replied that I hadn't really thought about it too much, but that my Grade 2 teacher had told us that vowels were the heart of the word, and consonants were the wrapping around the heart; the consonants were important, but the words wouldn't exist without the vowels.
He replied that he preferred consonants, because vowels sounded too much like bowels.
The next time he goes, it might spell disaster.
