Help me out (recomendations needed)

1997 F150 4.6 V8 with 130,000

oil change is coming up in about 150 miles.

I got this truck not that long ago so I dont know what the last owner was using, I am leaning toward the K&N, the manual calls for the Motorcraft.

I put a K&N on a Chevy 5.7 l V8 with 135,000 miles and it ran really well.

Based on this experience, as well as on Patman's UOA's, I am running K&N oil and air filters on my new truck (2004 Avalanche). Changed the oil this weekend with Kendall GT-1 synthetic 10w-30 and it runs really well.
