Heavy oil to stop leak?

Many years of driving worn out cars to high mileage has shown me that the type of leak is all important. Quite often a lighter oil can reduce the leak. Remember that heavier oil raises the oil pressure, causing the oil to come out faster. A high quality light oil may work for you but you should let us know where the leak is located. RW

The AutoRX will clean the abrasive deposits from around the lip of the seal, so this will reduce or stop the leak in many cases.

I have been trying some on a high mileage Audi and the stuff really seems to work. I'd run it for 1000 miles total and change just the oil filter after 500 miles.

I changed the pcv valve and it really minimized the leaking. I am probably going to run super tech 10w-40 with supertech filter. I do not want to pay the two dollars a quart for the high milage stuff.
