Heavy Duty Shredder

I have a Fellows brand shredder. It's a cross cut and it will even shred credit cards & CD/DVD's.

I use it for my home office and it's 2 years old. I shred a lot of paper through it and it still works great.

I would estimate that I have shredded 5K+ sheets of paper in those 2 years.

I bought it on sale for $75 CDN so it should be less than $100 US even if not on sale.

Staples is where I think I got it...

At work we are using Cintas as our shredding service. They give you a 90 gal locked trash can, shred on site and return the can to you for about $20 per pick up. We have two for our office and they pick up monthly. They also have smaller, locked containers. If you have killed shredders in the past, this is probably a better option. We have scheduled pick ups, but they may also do "on call" for you if your demand is less.

I like Fire Pits for this type of activity (except CD's and DVD's of course). If you are real desperate you could call up Fawn Hall and have her give you the Oli' North special!

I have two standard issue office shredders side by side. I sticker papers in each. No waiting. Usually faster than I can feed them. I found a spare at the thrift store is why I have two. Couldn't pass it up for $5.
