Headlight Harness Connector Toasted, 99 LeSabre

The headlight harness connector plug-thingy for the passenger headlight on my 99 LeSabre is shot. The immediate effect is that the low beam is not operational. High beams and daytime lights still work. Should I try to scrounge a connector from the dealer or a junker, or merely hard-wire around the connector?

connectors are about 3-5 dollars if I remember correctly from AZ.

Get a 100w headlight harness to eliminate the problem in the future and have brighter headlights.
