That's all it's really supposed to be though. Pour it in and limp the car until got enough capital for an engine swap or rebuild. But unfortunately there are dishonest people who pour it in and sell the car, making the next owner pay the price.
It all depends on exactly how and where the head gasket is leaking. If it's a leak from the combustion chamber to the water jacket, none of these will work. If it's a leak from the water jacket to the ambient pressure (outside) any of them have a chance. Block porosity and things like that are possible to fix with this stuff, as are radiator leaks.
