So I admittedly know next to nothing about engine design, so here comes a dumb question. Is this 2.4l Honda engine in his 03 Accord the same basic design as the one in my '10 Accord? I've been using full syn for 7500-8000k changes, but it looks like I would be able to go 10-12k based on these results.
Or am I comparing apples and oranges?
Same basic design, same displacement and bore and stroke, different compression ratio. Yours is either a k24z2 or k24z3, depending on trim. If your goal is 10-12 k oci it may be suggested to approach this incrementally as driving climates, conditions and styles differ. Note that Vintageant lives in Florida and his is a a 5-manual transmission.
