On that dealer link ( http://bestsyntheticoil.com/dealers/amsoil/technical-data-bulletins/Specs-Ranked-June-17-2003.pdf)
why is the mobil one and redline TBN's always 5?
I am not taking all the information 100% seriously because of the source.. but when they rate 2/3 mobil 1 as 5 tbn and A TON of others as 5... is 5 the.. we dont know this info so we pick a number choice?
I seem to remember seeing VOA's of some of these oils that are much higher than 5?
Its funny the mobil 1 0w40 is still higher than amsoil's oil on that sheet even with its "5" tbn.
I'm not bashing amsoil but these info seems very
biased?

You know, I think the numbers are trustworthy. The file was posted on an Amsoil dealer's website, yet he doesn't try to hide the other synthetic's numbers even when they are better than Amsoil's numbers. Also, I have compared some of the entries in the table to the manufacturer's website numbers and they match up exactly.
