Are Havoline/Chevron Supreme considered to be the better 5W-20/5W-30 dino oils on the market? Can get both in my area Chevron being a little cheaper.

Either or neither or both, or a dozen others.. Search the Havoline, you'll see lots of op/ed on it. Quite popular. You'll also find by searching "5W20" that 5W20 has proven so robust in SM/GF4-level testing, it doesn't much matter which brand you use given the quality of the base oils involved in their various formulations. Someone will be along shortly to gun me down on this, but I'll stand on it. Welcome, newbie!

I think they are the best ones but I WOULD LIKE to know if the base stock is a little better than the others. If all group II base stock are equal, that would change my opinion.
