not yet, but perhaps soon. through this website we see that mobil 1 SS outperforms amsoil (10w30 ATM line in particular). Also, mobil 1 cost less especially if you get those 5qt jugs at wallmart.
so the question is, why use amsoil when you can use something that outpeforms it and is cheaper?
for me, the only reason i haven't switched over is amsoil 10w30 ATM is toward the upper end of the 30wt range while mobil 1 is toward the lower end of the 30wt range. given the many months of 98-112 degree temps we have here in austin, a heavier 30wt oil is probably better for my trucks v8 engine.
but it is very tempting to get those 5qt jugs of mobil 1....
