Has anyone in Canada seen 5w20 in 4L jugs?

I really hate the 1L bottles because they make a mess when I try to pour from the drain pan into each one of the little 1L bottles. But a 4L jug is easy to refill.

I have never seen it in anything other than a 1L.

BTW, when I was at Canadian Tire today I spotted 1L bottles of 0W30 that were so old, they were rated for SJ. I found that amusing.

I haven't seen 5w20 in 4L jugs yet. In fact, the only 5w20 I've seen up here in Walmart or CT is Pennzoil and it's only in the 1L bottles.

I wonder if M1 0w20 will ever arrive here? It's not even listed on Imperial Oil's Canadian website.

Umm .. maybe a S.F.Q....

Noco is located near Queensway and the 427 in Etobicoke and I believe it is more of a store that sells to mechanics and stuff, but the public can also go there too. It could be different now, but last year when I phoned them they said they were only open until 3pm everyday!

Now that I know they sell 0w20, I am tempted to buy some to try in my mom's Probe GT, although at the same time I just switched her car over to Walmart's 0w30 synthetic in the fall and am interested in seeing how it performs over a few intervals too.

I need to buy another test vehicle!

Sadly, it appears from this thread that xW20 anything in Canada is not available in 4L jugs.

So how do you guys deal with the problem of the mess with the eventual overflowing of the little 1L bottles and the dripping etc.

I don't have a problem using an oil that doesn't come in 4L jugs. Sure it's handy to have the big jugs to save for the used oil, but why don't you just do what I do? I save all my windshield washer fluid jugs and put the used oil into them. I'm sure you must be going through a lot of those this winter here in Toronto, I know I am!

To me, it's worse when some oils are available ONLY in 4L jugs, such as is the case with Delvac 1, Rotella 0w40 and many other fleet oils sold up here. Obviously the majority of people who buy those oils are not concerned though, since their oil sumps are huge anyways. But for someone with a car who wants to try them out, especially if their crankcase holds more than 4L of oil but way less than 8, it's not too much fun.
