Harbor Freight - today 9/28 - 40% off daytona floor jack

Hmm, the aluminum 1.5 ton I use is branded "Pittsburgh" and therefore ineligible.

A comparable Daytona is $135/ $81, and has four wheels, leading to a little better stability. Good find.

They can scan it on your phone.

I've done it both ways. This morning I brought a printer coupon and got a jack.

jack 4.webp

The 3 tonne that specifically mentions it beats Snap-on, is the one to get, it's a 99% rip of the snap on unit and it's fantastic, actually comes with a two, or maybe 3 year warranty as well.

I ran down earlier and grabbed the last 2 ton aluminum for $125, I don't really need it but the light weight is much easier to use than the 120lb other one. It seems to be well enough made, if it holds up I am satisfied.
OP thanks for the posting the coupon. (y)

Weird. Cashier at the store this morning said 90 days and the register’s screen displayed the 1 and 2 yr protection plans.
Yeah, i guess they're still not really aware of this one.

Many years ago when i found and bought this, having invested way too much time in checking if it was any good, i got to the counter and saw the same jack behind it, having been returned - i joked to the cashier did i make a mistake choosing this one....

Their answer was not at all, that jack had nothing wrong with it, but the owner used the 3 year warranty to have it replaced, as it then renews the warranty. I questioned the sanity of this and they answered something along the lines of, they can pull them down and look for wear/failure points to improve yadda yadda.

So i set a date in my calendar just shy of 3 years from then, and on that date, i brought mine back for the same reason (not a single issue in the 3 years i had it, love the jack) They were a little slow on the computer, saying it was out of warranty, did i have the extended - let's just say they were somewhat surprised to see it had a 3 year warranty on that item from new. Fetched me a new one from the shelf :D

I didn't bother again after another 3 years, it's been running so well there just didn't seem to be a point to lugging 100lbs into the truck again.
Love it for it's lift height and weight capability, solid jack IMO.

I posted that today, when I saw the email I was surprised! The floor jacks, even the Daytona lineup hardly ever has a coupon for it, not that I remember. Then 40% off?! I jumped to let everyone know.. I already have the daytona low profile/long reach, don't need another, but to save THAT much $$$ it's post it up time! Glad I could help everyone.. (y)
