hankook ventus ?

got a price on some hankook ventus v12 evo. $640 installed. Is that a good price and are any members using this same tire? My grandfather says I should get bfgoodrich but they are kinda pricey. I know the z is not very kind when it comes to longevity of tires.

Just looking for a good quality tire. Not some cheap primewells

I have the Ventus ST's on my 99 and they really wear nice and handle very well. For the money they are a stellar product. They look real nice with my Rousch wheels to.

So far after roughly 24,000 miles I am very happy with them. Rotate every 6k

Hankook has come a long way in the past few years. I'm thinking of putting the dynapro on the 07 next

Hankook makes a good tire, especially the new evo. Cheap, quiet, tested well with good grip (I think it was C&D or Road/Track magazine).

In an effort for full disclosure, I was a contract racing driver for Hankook Motorsports 2006-2008, won a lot of races on their Ventus racing tires.

I have Hankook Ventus V12 EVO 255/40-17 on the rear of '04 Honda S2000 to replace Falken FK450, the front has Falken FK450 225/45-17. I like Hankook better than Falken, handling - performance - ride - noise are all better. For performance tires, nothing is better than Ventus V12 EVO for similar price, there are better tires but for a lot more $. Note: tread wear is only 280, so that it doesn't lasted more than 30-35k miles at best.

I had Discount-Tire-Direct match price of Onlinetires and had Walmart installed all for about $260 for two rear tires.

Wow how do you get into something like that.

And sizes are 225/45/18 fronts and 245/45/18 rears
