Being this is BITOG & Christmas, I thought it appropriate to ask! Problem is...there's no oil forum for gyroscopes. It is an Asian model, so perhaps "import" is appropriate?

Looks like a metal pin on plastic bushing combination with a touch too much in clearance. I may be able to adjust it out. Definitely a high-speed, very low friction application here. Oil? Grease? Silicone? Graphite? What weight? HTHS? Suggested OCI? MTBF?

Using a Moto-tool and a rubber wheel, one can get the gyroscope wheel spinning incredibly fast!

Dry stuff is what the Pinewood derby sharpies use for low drag. You can buy Teflon powder at a hobbyshop. It's used in model reilroad applications.

Zoom Spout Oiler and it's turbine oil seems about right to me. Only takes a drop, then wick up the excess with the corner of a paper towel or tissue.
