Went to The Bristol here in KC yesterday for National Gumbo Day
Growing up in La. my family made a gumbo almost every week of the year. What I don't get is, most people around here (and all over La.) they ONLY want to make a gumbo when it gets cold. It DOESN'T have to be cold to make a gumbo, people! SMH!
