Grp III capacity to rise, GTL future in question

As expected, the setbacks to GTL production from increased capital costs have opened the door for GRP III to strengthen its market position. http://www.imakenews.com/lng/e_article001477145.cfm?x=bfKHvS8,bd28TMM As Grp III capacity increases and costs lower, I have heard some industry consultants question if GTL has sufficient technical/cost advantages to become a factor in the next decade, especially as 0W-xx oils can now be made from full Grp III. IIRC, chevron is opening a huge new plant to make group III someplace down south. Something like $18Billion is being spent on the shell GTL plant in the middle east... Crazy costs.
