its a straight 30wt with limited availablity and came out fairly recently.. so I'm going to guess.. no

Yeah. It's been out for just more than a year and is marketed for lawnmowers and such. Walmart has carried it in many locations for quite a while. I'm getting ready to give it a try in my bus; was just curious if anyone had done yet. I've always preferred straight weights

I have not seen the 30wt on any store shelves, but I have seen the 10w-30 at Home Debauchery. I doubt the 30wt is a striaght 30wt. I bet it is a re-labeled 10w-30

On their web site, they list the 10w-30 and the 30 separately, with different specifications for each one. I suspect that they are not the same oil, though I don't see that they are dissimilar enough to warrant two distinct product lines. That is, they would seem to service the same customer base. Many of the WalMart stores have both. I'd used the 5w-30 (marketed for automotive use) in my subaru and my van. The Subaru loves it, but it is just a bit too thin for the van. The 30wt is a bit thicker at temperature. ... the major reason I'm going to give the 30wt a try.

well the 30wt lists at 12.5 vs 9.47? for the 5w30 I'd probably just buy maxlife 5w30syn or similar or mix in 1qt of 10w40 if you like thicker
