Looking at how the ship ended up, it seems some of it stayed out of the water. I don't know how they tie down the cars but some of them may be salvageable???? Even just for parts if the bodies are squished?

Most wheels and tires that stayed above water should be salvageable. Engines, transmissions, interiors and some body parts of at least some of the cars that stayed above water might be salvageable.

Yeah, the ship will have watertight compartments. I'm sure some of the cars, even if overturned, would be good for drivetrain parts, etc.
