Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a consultant that is an expert in the manufacture of greases? this would include equipment, processing and possibly some formulation.

We are a chemical company and we outsource the blending of our greases today. We are considering bring them in house.

I would start by joining NLGI - https://www.nlgi.org/

Their membership director has some names of independent professionals in it.

I would also attend at least their basic training. And I would also attend their yearly meeting to gain some industry connections.

I have some other people in mind, but 1. I’m not going to publicly discuss their names. 2. I’m not sure if they’re going to be willing to share information. But, who knows.

Blending grease is a hard business.
