Attempted to grease hubs on a 6x12 enclosed trailer. This is the first time I've ever greased anything and I can't get the grease gun to pull off the zerk. I'm completely clueless how to get it off. Help!

Pull harder. Try wiggling the grease gun fitting side to side while you do it. Put your back into it!

Alternatively, you could also unscrew the grease zerk if it really won't come loose.

Might be a good idea. Its probably better than pulling the grease nipple out and stripping the threads! Which is easy to do with Chinese parts.

You can tug a little but do not rip it off. I have had this happen while greasing a hub on boat trailer. Unscrew the coupler from the hose to fee up the pressure and the zerk. This will work.

X3, Unscrew the end a little.

Thanks for the input. I was expected to pull straight back on the gun and have it pop off. All I had to do was push it to one side and it popped right off. Felt a little silly at how easy it was and how much I panicked because I couldn't get it off in the beginning. Gotta learn somehow.

OK, we assumed you had moved it side to side in an attempt to get it off.
