I've had this happen ..not recently (I'm 51 ..but don't look a day over 60

) ..but it happened when a new cashier was hired.

Now I have actually found myself getting charged less than I expected. I went on a road trip with my racer wrench buddy to some race trans shop in suburban Baltimore. We stopped at a BK for lunch and the cashier asked for less money than it should have added up to. She said, "I gave you the senior citizen discount". He was 61 ..I was 50 at the time. I thanked the svelte ebony babette for her kindness.

your upscale palette was obvious to the cashier with your purchase of two buck chuck. she wanted to see your ID to get your name and address out in Woodward Park and Partay with you.

She could tell right from the start ... that you were a man of distinction ..A REAL BIG SPENDER. Hey BIG SPENDER! Spend a little time with me..

My 75-year-old grandpa got carded at AutoZone buying some hi-temp spray paint. Cashier said it made no difference that he's an old man, it's "company policy."

I like getting carded, but then again I am younger than most of you (34). Makes me believe that the cashier (who inevitably is younger in these situations) believes I could actually be 20. You'd think the graying beard and teenagers with me would give a clue, but I still love it.
