I got a cooler to fit a Duratec V6 engine today. It's the water cooled type from an Ford Escape. What is the procedure to install it? The pipe is male thread, so it won't screw on to the block nipple, so the block nipple has to be removed, right? Does it have a nut hex on it so it can be removed?
Also there is a little metal tab sticking out on one side. What is that for?
The coolant pipes face towards one side of it, do they face away from the engine?
