Goodwood Racing

The in car camera is in a 1963 Ford Cortina (British) and the light blue coupe is a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda. I also see a glimpse of an Alfa Romeo GTV and a Mini Cooper, All of the cars appear to be mid 1960's vintage.

That's how it was at Pukekohe when I was a lad - it was epic battles of Mini's against Mustangs. The Mustangs would pull several car lengths on the back straight, then get swamped by a flock in Minis on the first corner, the Mini's would be in front through all the corners, then the Mustangs would take it all back on the straight. Very popular, yelling and screaming from everyone.

The Galaxies were actually raced in Europe but were mostly replaced by Mustangs after 1965. Some period photographs show Galaxies dicing with Minis and Jaguar sedans.

Goodwood hosts two major events- the Revival and the Festival of Speed. The Revival is a lot of fun but you aren't allowed in to many areas without wearing period clothing. There are usually some historic aircraft flyovers as well- Spits and Lance primarily.
The Festival of Speed always has a featured marque as well as as a timed hillclimb. You will see F1 cars, Touring Cars, NASCAR stockers, and dragsters. A few years ago an early Hurst Hemi Under Glass Barracuda was there and put on quite a show.
Goodwood also hosts smaller monthly gatherings for specific clubs, etc., but the Revival and the Festival of Speed are the hallmark events.
