I am getting ready for a turbo system for the silverado.

I am testing open breathers on the valve covers. The stock system simply can not handle a large turbo.

Drilled out the pvc valve and tossed a breather on it. Passenger side also vented. Hoping no smell or oily residue or I will plumb it into the exhaust using something like this or an eletric alternative.

Not familiar with your truck, however I have built a few high powered turbo vehicles over the years. I had one that running 23psi of boost along with a lot of volume. I had issues with excessive crank pressure and ended up using a product called KrankVent which worked far better than I ever even expected. It creates a negative crank case pressure using two special valves. If you haven't seen it, take a look. It probably cost more than your setup now, but it worked flawlessly and solved a ton of issue with that car.

And a little more about how it all works.

I removed the Ported Vacuum Control system from my 71 Cutlass a long time ago. Now the distributor sees vacuum advance in first and second gear.

My sister in her Toyota Supra had that problem she has a 35 PSI turbo

My step father owns a Turbo and Injection bussiness in FL.

So being Daddys Girl and she was into Turbos her father would give her the nicest turbos and anything and everything she could want.

Turbos is BIG compared all others I have seen.

Looks like a Turbo for a big TRUCK.
