I will buy either Castrol GTX that is on huge sale right now, or Havoline. Today is "oil change day". I realize that Havoline has a boat load of moly in their formulation. Does Castrol GTX use any moly?

While I favor Havoline too compared to Castrol how do good UOA's on completely different vehicles with unknown histories to most of us make it a good choice for someone else to use on what is probably a completely different vehicle from the ones UOA were done for? What am I missing?

I'd choose which you can get for cheaper. Both good oils. How much is Castrol on sale for?

Actually, Castrol is on sale for the same price that Havoline is at. both Havoline and Castrol GTX qts are selling for 1.98/qt.

wow i can't believe that Havoline is up to 1.98 at Advanced. I can still find it for 1.68 a quart.....maybe i should stock up

Don't do it! Get the 5qt jug of Havoline at wallyworld for 6.90 That's no sale!
