In Canada it seems that all GM (AC Delco) parts can only be got at the dealership? For example looking in the owners manual it specifies that PS fluid part no. as 89021186 (in US it is 89021184). If I go to Part Source or CT will it list such a part no on the container (something to the effect of "...meeting the standards of GM....")?

Or maybe I will just have to wait for the dealership to open Monday?

The PS system in my Buick was 'croaning' so I changed it using a turkey baster. It helped a little but when I added Auto-RX and ran it a thousand miles and then D&R'd it a few times it is now as quiet as new at 108K. I am running Walmart PS fluid in the blue bottle.

I've used Pennzoil PS fluid with very good results in GM systems. Yellow bottle, tinted blue. Before I knew better, I would turkey baster fluid out of the PS tank, and refill it with Dexron.

I **think** the spec is GM 9985010, but I would double check....

Is that the Canada-specific Synth GM fluid? I believe knowledgable people reported serious problems with it.
