I believe Asus was Apple and Sony's partner of choice, but Asus decided to make it on their own with laptops, hence why Quanta is now handling their production needs.
Last I heard from ASUS, they were still making notebooks for Apple. They want to continue with the OEM stuff, while also providing their own notebooks to the market.
I will make it a point to ask at the next ASUS conference for sure though.
STB was purchased by 3DFX, they were originally NVidia's largest customer. The acquisition of STB by 3DFX was what pushed NVidia out of producing their own cards and focus soley on 3rd party vendors.
When 3DFX bought STB, many of the OEM's who were using 3DFX switched to NVidia.
NVidia now owns STB Systems, as that would have come with their purchase of 3DFX. The STB facility was located in Juarez.
Intel only has two Mexico locations: Guadalajara and Mexico City.
