GM Guys, 2002 VUE BCM Questions

My 2002 2.2L VUE needs a new BCM. BCMs for the VUE from 2002-2007 all look the same but have different serial numbers. 2002 specific BCMs are over $150, but 2003 and up BCMs can be had for $50. My BCM: 22693423 SUV {WRFA) Blue 12 GMABO82B05 Can I just buy an '03 or '04?

The BCM needs to be reprogrammed for your vin. http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114215 Is there someone out there doing that for Saturn's?

Part numbers change thru the years due to base software changes etc and, as mentioned, it needs to be programmed to your vehicle. If you were nearby I would do it free for you!

I wouldn't, there were a lot of changes going on in the early 00's from year to year.
