GM 4T40E and Valvoline MaxLife

I'm getting ready to change the fluid in my Cavalier. Has anyone used Valvoline MaxLife DEX/MERC in their 4T40E and care to report how it is working in their tranny?

The car is 200 miles shy of 200K on the odo and is running great.

I had the 4t45e and I switched it to max life at about 150k, it defiantly made it shift better, but I really wish I would have just spend 3 dollars more a quart and got the Amsoil atf..

Yes. The newer MaxLife meets dex IV spec and works well in this unit as well as the 4T60 and 4T65 units and others.
Throw a bottle of Lubeguard red in there for good measure also, it really helps.

Thanks for the info. I use Lubeguard Red in my Mercedes and it does seem to help.
