Was changing the oil in the V6 Accord this weekend and looked at the oil fill cap and it had the usual mumbo jumbo on it, but it did say to use a GF-3/EC oil. What is EC??? I know from this BB what the GF's are all about, but what is EC?

This really gives more ammo to the "5W-20" non-believers. I am seeing the light. Seems anything associated with EC is the thinner types of oil. Fact, I switched from the recommended 5W-20 to a 5W-30 this weekend.
