GF-2 oils now in stock!

I was in a K-mart last night, and they still had some gf-2 Havoline and Valvoline on their shelves. $1.50 and $1.90 respectively. This was also the first store in my area where I saw the new gf-4 Castrol GTX.

Wow, some "vintage" SJ oil. I guess their oil turnover is not so good

. That stuff should be in the final/discount sales bin and not being priced at current prices for more modern oils. I guess they figure they can pawn this off on the "average Joe" who is not wise to the finer points of motor oil, unlike BITOG members

Walmart in Lacey, WA, recently added an entire row of Mobil 1 5W-30 Tri-Synthetic . This had not been there before at all. It's sitting there, right next to the new stuff...

I was at Wal-Mart again tonight, and saw that the 5W-30 Tri-Synthetic is the same price ($4.77, I was in a hurry and didn't check last time) as it's 5W-30 SuperSyn cousin 6 inches above it!
