German Castrol vs ?????

Do a search in the "Car and Truck Gas Engine Oil" and "Used Oil Analysis--Gas Engine" Forums for "GC," "German Castrol," "0W30" or "Castrol" and you should find pretty much anything you would like to know about this oil including pictures of the bottles and descriptions of the labels so you know what to look for.

German Castrol? All I find on Castrol bottles is "made in the USA from foreight components" or some similar statement. What defines German Castrol and is it different from what I see on the bottles.??? Eddie

Thats the problem with this oil, availability. YES they are different. Made in Germany is an entirely different animal. Castrol is a huge blender and they are sourcing different suppliers to make the German Castrol. If you can't find it, there are many other good oils to chose from.
