I never got to the green, but as I said I had a couple of cars that loved the gold GC...

My Tiguan runs great on last year version before dropping LL01. GC was always smooth as silk oil, low burn etc.
When it was green pretty much all Euro oils were PAO based, and GC was just in its own class.

The first green oil I ever encountered was in the early 80s..... Kendall Racing.

Some PA oils are still green, like PennGrade (used to be BradPenn). But of course they are not full synthetics...

So green doesn't represent the product to be top-shelf. So it was just a coincidence that German Castrol was green.
OK, I'm fine with that.
