My Tiguan runs great on last year version before dropping LL01. GC was always smooth as silk oil, low burn etc.
When it was green pretty much all Euro oils were PAO based, and GC was just in its own class.

Some PA oils are still green, like PennGrade (used to be BradPenn). But of course they are not full synthetics...

So green doesn't represent the product to be top-shelf. So it was just a coincidence that German Castrol was green.
OK, I'm fine with that.
