Just about time for tires again for our 2015 Toyota Sienna LE (FWD), our General RT43’s are due for replacement. Just was starting to look to see if I could find a rebate or sale on some Generals and I saw that Toyota is offering $100 off a set of four tires and they offer General Reliatrek, never heard of this model. Any feedback on these tires? Any good for driving in the Northeast?

looks like a budget passenger car tire. Probably a downgrade from the rt-43 but who knows for sure.
Also if you are interested in snow traction you should focus/consider All-weather tires.

If you don’t mind a slightly higher price and you liked the RT43 tires, research the General AltiMax RT45.

Personally, I make it a habit not to install “value tires” on anything I drive.

Let us know what you end up buying.

Thanks all for your insight, we were running separate snow tires (Cooper TrueNorth), but they are worn out as well. As I am sure you are aware minivans eat tires...you are lucky if you get 30,000 on a set of tires. (Yes I rotate the tires every time I change the oil, keep the car aligned, and have replaced the front struts)

Definitely interested in a set of all-weather tires, just concerned about spending the extra money on AW tires espeically since they would most probably wear even faster than normal all-seasons.
