I'm planning to use GC in a 4.6L Ford(97) which has 92,000 miles.

Has anyone had good uoa's or experiences on cars with high miles? acn some of you pls comment how well GC worked in your cars? it really would help me make a decision, 'cause I'm worried about seals/leaks in older cars etc.
I did search; most of the uoa's and reports on GC were from not-very-old cars.

Thanks a lot.

I believe that patman's firebird has almost 100k, and his GC UOA was excellent.

Yep, my first UOA with GC was from the 90k to 93k mark. It currently has 97,600 miles on it, and I'll have another UOA to post in March, and the oil will have 6k on it (and the car will have 99k on it)

I put some GC in my wife's 944T just before the holidays. She's got about 2.5K on the oil and maybe 130K or so on the car, and I figure that the dreaded rear main seal seepage that seems to show up on these Volvo red blocks at around 150K will rear its ugly head any day now...

Probably run it out to 5K (Volvo recommended OCI) and do a UOA in April or so.
