I've been lurking around here for a few months and haven't really posted much. This past weekend I decided to do a GC search. I found a ton of gold but only one quart of green.
I bought the one green and 5 quarts of the gold. I put it in my '05 Tacoma with 12,000 miles on it. I used an Amsoil EaO57 filter. I was using Amsoil ASL and an SDF57 filter for the past 6 months and 5,000 miles. I liked that combo as well but I thought I'd try this out before getting stuck in my ways.
My truck really seems to like the gold. It has been cold here the past few days and she seems to be unaffected by it. I sent the old ASL out to Blackstone for a UOA. I'm anxious to see if there is any positive/negative affect on the mpg.
