GC batch numbers, did I get old or new?

Just changed my 5.3 chevy to GC for the 1st time. The bottles have these numbers on them and were bought 3 months ago in 2 different Colorado Auto Zones.

If the speculation I have seen on this board is correct, and based on my own purchase experience, you have SLX from the oldest and next oldest batches we have seen. I have bottles from the two oldest batches and now have some from the newest. My plan is to use the oldest first, but whichever batch the SLX comes from, I have no concerns.

It might have an "elevated" iron count (9ppm) but I would not worry about that for one second...so no, it is not a "bad thing" at all.

PS You wouldn't want your car's blood to be anemic would you?
