Just changed my 5.3 chevy to GC for the 1st time. The bottles have these numbers on them and were bought 3 months ago in 2 different Colorado Auto Zones. m090426a T/W05482 mo23386btag787 1959 " "785 " " m030426a T/W05482 1213 m023386b784 1845 Thank you for any info!

If the speculation I have seen on this board is correct, and based on my own purchase experience, you have SLX from the oldest and next oldest batches we have seen. I have bottles from the two oldest batches and now have some from the newest. My plan is to use the oldest first, but whichever batch the SLX comes from, I have no concerns. Regards, Paul

It might have an "elevated" iron count (9ppm) but I would not worry about that for one second...so no, it is not a "bad thing" at all. PS You wouldn't want your car's blood to be anemic would you? [Wink] [ June 17, 2004, 09:46 PM: Message edited by: pscholte ]
