wanted to buy a good fuel pressure tester. local part store rentals don't have quick disconnect adapters. looked thru ebay and amazon, afraid of cheap ones leaking. my current thought is to get the gauge from harbor freight (with schrader port), and an adapter by lang Tools 74492... not 100% sure it will work. the 74492 adapter is online only and shipping is half of the part price... I can't find good source for quick disconnect fittings and schrader on a tee even if I want to build one by myself... what do you use for fuel pressure test? any recommendations? thanks. cars have 5/16 in quick disconnect fuel pipe.

I have two different MAC fuel injection test kits, one a basic kit and one a master kit. I also have Snap On's newest master kit but it's super expensive. I bought all of mine on Ebay in new condition for quite a bit less than list price. The Harbor Freight Icon Master fuel injection kit is pretty nice but kind of expensive at about $300.
Fuel pressure testing is all over the map IME. I'm not aware of a single kit that will cover everything.
I've got three or four kits and still wind up mix 'n matching for many things.
I started with a kit like @Nukeman7 linked, but the "pro" in the large red case. It's still useful! I don't know about "fuel rated" but fuel actually isn't that hard on hoses -- it's ATF that eats rubber. I haven't had any problems or leaks.
Another option for maybe less-than-SnapOn-money is the Cornwell GSI4325. Set up a saved ebay search. Right now the least expensive looks to be $360 shipped but I got mine for $290 a couple years ago. Since it'll be used prices can fluctuate considerably. Pretty sure I chased the Cornwell at the recommendation of @clinebarger and it's nice.
I also have an SUR&R kit of splices which honestly has not proven that useful (yet) but I'm glad to have options
