At about point in miles would you start using a fuel injector cleaner as a preventative measure if at all....This is on a 2021 Honda HRV...

I never use it in either my car or my wife's car. They get driven alot and have new gas flowing thru them all the time, so I presume what ever they put in the gas at the refinery does what it's supposed to be doing. No problems to date. I use cleaner in my motorcycles and lawn equipment, due to them sitting more then our cars do. No fuel related problem in years.,,

For my honda I find every 12-18 months using top-tier fuels works for me before I notice any issues. Or every 5-6 months using generic gas.

While I can't remember exactly at what point, but my old IS250 would lose power, and would regain it after a B12 chemtool to the tank treatment. Ran Kirkland/Chevron top tier, so that whole argument of gas is additized enough isn't true. I would always test the car on the same hill, speed set on cruise control. For the "after" I always made sure that the scenario would benefit the "before" outcomes, lower ambient temps, less warm up time, just so that the results would be biased in favor of the test run before the treatment. With that car, I knew when it was time because I drove that hill almost daily to get home. Today, I just run a couple bottles of whatever every 10k or so. If I suspect a problem, B12.

I recently was given a 2002 Blazer with 108K miles.
I have no idea how it was maintained as far as top tier gas or fuel cleaner.
I ran a bottle of Techron and then two tanks with MMO.
Would that be enough to clean it up?

*I* think, in part, it depends on the quality of gas that you use. As others have suggested, try and use a Top Tier gas. - https://toptiergas.com/

From time to time, I alternate between B-12 Chemtool Fuel Injector Cleaner (part #0116) - https://bit.ly/3aSY87l & https://bit.ly/2ka3Iv3 and Gumout All-In-One Complete Fuel System Cleaner - https://bit.ly/3IXdqqT

Berryman’s is solvent based and Gumout is detergent based. I use the Gumout because it claims "Fights Rust & Corrosion" which is targeted to offset the ethanol effects (i.e., water content) that's in gasoline.

Berryman customer support told me, "Our recommendation for regular maintenance of your fuel system is one can of B-12 Chemtool Fuel Injector Cleaner (part #0116) every third fill up. Best to add when the tank is empty, and use a funnel to avoid spilling on paint (you most likely have a capless tank anyway)."

Yes, one that contains PEA. We only use best available quality 98 octane fuel but a quality fuel system cleaner make a a noticeable difference and quickly at that.

Use Chevron, no additional cleaner needed in the 37 years I've owned EFI engines.

It is better to prevent fuel system deposits then to try and clean them away later with a fuel system cleaner. Based on that, I run only TT gas and run a good PEA additive just before each oil change which for me is around 5-7k miles.
