Fuel Economy Improvements?

My reading of the articles is that it's better thermal efficiency, which then has to be translated using BTU in the tank, and ethanol loses there...in order to yield better "MPG", they have to be increasing the efficiencies by 30-40%...which is plainly not possible...but you keep wheeling it out.

I forgot to add that I always turn on the AC when coasting, so I can use it a little less when at accelerating and do save some gas.
