Vehicle in question is our 2015 Toyota Camry with the 2.5. First DIY oil change today and I just about gagged on the fuel smell draining the oil. (Note, I did not do a UOA, but it is pretty obvious) This makes sense since the average use is 2mi round trip per day. There is the occasional once or twice a month 60 mile round trip. Would it be a better idea instead of yearly OCI's to go to 6mo with filter change every other time? Money is not an issue as a $28 5qt jug of oil is not much. Most likely will stick with the 0w20 flavor of oil. This time it was Penn Platinum.

Just changed today. Previous oil had 4,449 miles on it.

I thought others might chime in here but the obvious thing is to drive that car more or change the oil more often.
