I noticed frugalmechanic.com consistently came up in google parts searches, then tried it a couple times. I thought it was just a gimmick site but its returned some decent result. Plug in a part number and it searches various sites (JC Whitney fmaily companies, Amazon, Ebay, etc but misses a lot like RockAuto and such) and gives a pretty accurate landed cost based on your zip code (freight and tax inclusive). Also indicates what coupon codes it knows about (although this is not comprehensive as it was missing yesterday's JC Whitney 20% off code but had the 10% code).

Most pricing you'll find is all pretty close between vendors of course, but what it does find are some of the oddball needles in the haystack. For example, for some reason Amazon had some racing shocks priced 50% below MAP price with free shipping (I'm still surprised they did not cancel my order). Found some overstock Made in USA brake pads and (gasp) rotors on ebay for way below retail.

Worth a look if you are squeezing pennies.
