Potato chips are good fire starters too
If you get the old fashoned kind in a paper bag you don't even need to open the bag.
IIRC, they both have about the same thermal energy per pound as coal.

Gosh ..all the ways they can package refined sugar and flour. Wasn't life simpler then (when you could eat all that stuff and not care)??
Then again ..there a reemergence in popularity of a snack cake in urban environments and has been somewhat popularized in contemporary media offerings.
