I ran Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 5w30 this time, but I have used a lot of different synthetic oils over the years.

I also run a Pareto TopDog V bypass filtration system with an Amsoil EaBP90 filter that adds another 1/2 qt. Total capacity is 6.5 qts.

He's is a list of filters with 3/4" x 16 threads that with work on my FJ Cruiser

Yes it's used, 11k miles and 1 yr. I let it hang vertically and let gravity to its thing for a couple of weeks before taking the picture.
Interesting

I'll do this next year with the Purolator Boss that's on the Ford Escape before I cut it open.

I cut it apart, cut the pleated filter material loose from the 2 end caps, separate where the 2 ends of the pleated material come together, then hang it vertically for a couple of weeks.

Thanks! That's far more interesting than showing us the complete filter still dripping with excess oil that obscures anything captured by the media.

Easier to just wrap the filter with 3 or 4 layers of paper towels and rubber bands for a couple days, then cut the media out if you want to spread out the media.
