6700 miles on this with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30. 217 hours of use which got it to 6% oil life remaining on the monitor. This one came out pretty good looking. No issues found. Some fresh PUP and a new ultra filter went back on.

Thanks for C&P. Man, these non-wire-backed Ultras look extremely middling at best. Glad I still have some originals before Trico cheapened them up!

Super tech, Ac delco, Motor craft, pure1, Wix, Royal Purple, champion, Fram tough guard and fram eg. too many to name them all really.

Thanks for posting. I've been using Motorcraft on my 5.0 during the warranty period. The ultra still seems a very solid filter based on the 972 other discussion threads lol. The wrinkled pleats are unsightly though. It's the only one I'd consider if I eventually switch.

I have the older wire backed Fram Ultra on a 5.0 Mustang and will cut open at 25K miles.

I stopped using motorcraft ones after I had some failures. If you look at my posts I cut one open recently that completely failed. Same application too. It was from a 2020 5.0.
