This is from my nephews truck. 2020 Ford F150 5.0 with 96k kms on it. Interval was 12370 kms (7686 miles) or 218 hours in 5 months with 5% remaining on the oil life monitor. Oil used was Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30. The same setup went back in. Some pics are from when it was saturated in oil and some after it was leached out overnight.

Not too bad for 12k, seems to be well used. Pup isn't a long drain interval oil so I'd cut back a bit.

Given that his truck is a 2020 it's the 3rd gen and that has a wet belt driven pump and I don't know what extended intervals do to the wet belt as opposed to shorter intervals. Don't know if extended drains degrade the belt faster or if it's the same.

You’re getting confused with the gen 4 coyote in the trucks which is 2021+. The gen 1-3 do not have the wet belt. They have metal oil pump gears driven directly off the crank.

Correct. I remember hearing about the change in 2020 but for the 2021 model year so I got confused which generation it began.
