Here is a Fram Ultra Xg10575 used on. 2020 Ford F-150 5.0. Used for 181 hours / 9650 kms or 6000 miles. I still have to let all the water drip out of it. Have it wrapped in paper towel. But these always look great! Looking forward to cutting the new style ultra for my next change.

Rotella t6 5w40 and a new ultra xg10575. Not sure if it’s the new or old style yet. This is from my nephews truck. I have a 2018 model for my truck and use the same oil and filter.
I have a 2019 and am curious if you noticed any difference going to 5W40? I just had the engine replaced in mine at 15K miles and am on the second oil change now.
Yes. These like to have more oil pressure at idle. Thicker oil helps with keeps the vct system happy. I don’t like light oil in these. Been using 40 grades for the last two years in mine. Oil consumption is very minimal and it sounds and feels a lot smoother. I’m currently running some 0w40 petro Canada diesel oil in mine. Pretty happy with it. Rotella has been hard to find as of late.
Interesting. Mine is under warranty yet though.
