Rare indeed! Wonder if it's got gasket material bypass seal area with it. My "speculation" says not.

Looking at my phone I, at first, thought it had that stuff in it FRAM used to use in their "High Mileage" filters. Remember that stuff? I never used one. Not even sure what it was exactly.....

This filter doesn’t have it. I do remember the old HM FRAMS too.

I find it very interesting that Fram has the OG media and backing still in production somewhere. It shows up very randomly.
